Is it true that the new trend is to see women's panties through a garment?
Whatever happened to the craze about buying panties that didn't have a visible panty line (VPL)? For years, women shopped at stores and searched online for the perfect panty that wouldn't show through skirts, dresses, or a tight-fitting pair of jeans. Women loved the idea of not seeing a panty line through their clothes.
But nowadays, in all the fashion magazines and on runways worldwide, we're seeing women boldly wearing panties and undergarments to show off their brand name choices of underwear.
If you have a lingerie drawer filled with designer panties that don't reveal the VPL, should you toss your old undies into the trash? Hold on...you don't have to discard any of your designer panties, regardless of the latest trend. The curse of the visible panty line was made public in 1976, and it drove millions of women to stores who wanted to buy the new panty designs. But, like with all trends (which are usually started by fashion designers), consumers buy products because it's the popular and "in-thing" to have in your possession. Panties, understandably, are no exception when it comes to fashion design trends.
Whether you're watching television fashion shows, or attending a live event, you will see that the new trend is to see a woman's panties through a sheer dress or a skirt. The panty styles are not limited to boycut fashions, or full briefs. Even thongs are being worn, with no apparent embarrassment.
Rather than throwing out your old undies, you might want to buy a few designer panties...just in case you want to show them off through your see-through clothes.
